SAMPLE PROJECTS

Here are some projects of various types that we have done over the years:

SHIPPING CONTAINER HOUSE
This was a home made from shipping containers in downtown Atlanta. We did the structural design.

ATLANTA RESIDENCE
The house was narrow and long, and it had an almost completely open floor plan on the second floor. This presented special design challenges to keep it stable in high wind situations.

WILLOW CREEK CONCRETE
Willow Creek built a plant in Fairburn, GA to make segmented concrete blocks for retaining walls. We designed the foundation systems for their equipment.

BOULDERCREST SHELL
A rather simple project which involved the conversion of a service station to a convenience store. We designed the structural modifications, which included putting in new beams to support store front openings, design of new masonry walls, and design of the roof structure.

OLDE TOWN GRAYSON
This is a development near the city center of Grayson, GA. We designed two detention pond retaining walls, inspected the foundations in the small strip shopping center that was constructed at the entrance to the subdivision, and performed a floor flatness study of the concrete slab in the shopping center. The floor flatness study was a requirement of a future tenant.

RESISTANCE PIER FOUNDATION REPAIR
This is a foundation repair we did with resistance piers on a house with a lot of problems. This is a Power Point presentation that you can download - it shows how resistance piers are installed.
